(U.16B)-Ball Joint Press (up to 22mm diameter)(USAG)

USAG Ball Joint Separator (449 Series)- for removing steering and suspension ball joints up to 22mm diameter. Popular tool for BMW and other European car applications. Identical to Facom U.16B which was discontinued in 2023.

Note - this tool is equipped with shear pins which are designed to break if overtorqued. This is for the user's protection. I have found that what works best is to apply moderate tension to the ball joint and strike the ball joint (the part, NOT the tool) with a 1kg or heavier hammer.
