1/2" Drive 6pt Metric Tool Set with Telescoping Flex Head
Ratchet & Detection Box (SXL.DBOX3) - This is my new favorite 1/2"
drive set. The design aspects are brilliant and the set was
recently featured in France Design magazine (April 2014).
The new SXL.171 telescoping
ratchet, with a range of
12-17", offers great flexibility and leverage. This locking
extensions and a locking ratchet head prevent socket loss.
There's also an adapter to use 3/4" drive sockets although
for applications of 250 ft lbs or greater torque, I'd still go
with a 3/4" drive ratchet or breaker bar.
The "Detection-Box"
Series takes design and innovation a step further with a compact
case that allows the user to do a full inventory of tool
contents, even with the case closed. As such, these new sets meet
FOD (Foreign Object Damage) regulations in those industries
impose tight security measures and demand high-performance tools
and equipment.
