The engineers at Facom have improved the design in 2014 with the second generation 440 series with a thinner open end. With the open end up to 15% thinner than the previous generation, the user gains fastener accessibility and and a larger field of application. The box/ring end of the wrench has also been improved for better clearance and accessibility. This set is also a improvement over the Mac SCLM14PT sibling sets (Facom, USAG and Mac are all part of the Stanley Group).
