Facom
"Quick-Adjust" Adjustable Wrench (Comfort Grip) -
15" (101.15G) - when
I first started selling Facom back in the mid-90's, I was very
impressed (as were many of my customers) with the quick
adjustment feature of the 113.EC and 113.CP series adjustable
wrenches. You'd pull back on the spring loaded adjuster and slide
the moveable jaw to whatever position was needed. The 113A series
replaced the older 113EC/CP wrenches and this quick adjust
feature was gone.
Now, in 2018, Facom has brought
back "quick-adjust" in 2 of the new 101 Series
wrenches....the 101 (chrome finish) and 101G (comfort grip
handle). The 3rd model in the 101 Series is the 101GR (comfort
grip plus reversible jaw...flat on one side, serrated on the
other) is sort of a mini-pipe wrench. Great for use on smaller
diameter pipes and tubing, has a comfort-grip handle but does not
feature "quick adjust". All of the new 101 Series have
a new head (angled at 22.5° for better access in tight spots)
and a dual metric & imperial scale on the head.
It appears that the 113A series
is being retained in both chrome and phosphate finishes but the
113 Comfort Grips (113CG and 113TG) are going away....replaced by
the 101G series. Specifically...this 101.12G replaces
Facom 113A.12CG and 113A.12TG.
