Henry
240 Dry Canister HEPA Vacuum - the Henry series of vacuums,
made in the UK by Numatic, are imported to North America by
NaceCare. The Henry 240 is slightly larger than the 200 Series
models available online, allowing the user to take full advantage
of the 9 liter capacity HepaFlow filter bag. This is a great
performer and excellent value (especially compared to Miele) and
suitable for home (all surfaces), car, workshop, light
construction cleanup and commercial/industrial settings (schools,
nursing homes, offices, etc).
These are simple vacuums (by
design) with minimal points of failure. No speed control or
autostart circuitry, no power cord auto rewind, no power floor
nozzle connectivity. The money is in the motor (5yr warranty) and
HEPA filtration. The quality hose, nice assortment of tools &
accessories and cute canister are a bonus.
This standard model is equipped
with the AST-1 Performance Kit which includes a 3pc
stainless steel tube set (curved hand tube with air bleed to
reduce suction, short fixed-length extension tube and a
telescoping extension tube) and a 12" Combination Floor
tool. All models include a 2" dusting brush, 9" crevice
nozzle, a 4" upholstery tool and an 8 1/2' x 1 1/4"
hose.
NaceCare markets this as
commercial/industrial and residential. If you're a contractor who
needs a compact RRP compliant vacuum, go with the NVR 170H.
