Facom 1/2" Drive 6pt Metric Tool Set with Rotator Ratchet & Detection Box (S.360DBOX1) - Facom's tool sets have always been nicely packaged and the company has avoided using the typical "blow-mold" cases found among most of the import brands. Their new "Detection-Box" Series takes design and innovation a step further with a compact case that allows the user to do a full inventory of tool contents, even with the case closed. As such, these new sets meet FOD (Foreign Object Damage) regulations in those industries impose tight security measures and demand high-performance tools and equipment.
The body of the case is made of two materials and the rigid sections provide high resistance. It's also equipped with metallic clasps and hinges, tested for thousands of openings and closures. Developed by the Facom R&D department, the case boasts additional benefits:
- It can be stored in any of their roller cabinet drawers including the slimmer ones and takes the place of a "standard-width" Facom tool module
- It easily stands vertically and remains stable
- Its "soft" surface avoids slipping and does not scratch
- Its comfortable handle makes it easy to carry.
