Pneumatic Brake Piston Windback Kit (DF.17-P) - same as the
DF.17-100A but with fewer cups........includes 7 press-pad
adapters (pucks) instead of only 9.. Includes the DF.17 Pneumatic
Windback tool for retracting (with air pressure) and rotating the
piston (with a 7" long padded handle) back into the caliper
when installing new pads. Can be used on clockwise or
counter-clockwise pistons. Requires 90psi shop air supply.
Non-impact.
This tool is required with each
pad replacement for vehicles with this type of caliper (rear
calipers that also function as a parking brake). The tool uses
shop air to hold pressure on the piston and you can turn the
handle in either direction (for left-hand or right-hand calipers)
