Woodworking Tool Storage

 

	When it comes to precision woodworking tools, I'm a big fan of Festool. Each tool comes in a convenient Systainer storage case and the company offers portable storage racks to keep everything secure and organized. I wasn't a fan of the racks and transferred everything to a large Lista cabinet (see below).
	Since I needed something substantially larger than anything available from Festool, I custom configured this 7 drawer cabinet (60" wide x 70" tall x 30" deep). The cabinet holds 20+ tool Systainers in various sizes (up to 6 per drawer) and a large selection of accessories and consumables.
	Drawer accessories (dividers, partitions and plastic boxes) allow a high degree of customization.
	Tools and related accessories are conveniently located together.
	Up to 6 tool cases per drawer.
	Mix of electric and pneumatic sanders.
	Without the Festool logo, this might appear as a typical office lateral file cabinet. The tambour door neatly conceals and secures the drawer contents.
