4500psi concrete floor (6" thick). Room is ready for mechanicals.

The workshop is finally sheetrocked and awaiting the finishing touches - cabinetry, electronics, lighting, wall treatments, etc.

Testing out the new workshop (major service on a 355 Ferrari) before finishing the walls. Additional cooling, ventilation and lighting would be added to make working in the shop more effective and comfortable.

Shop has a 2-port in-wall fume extraction system.

2-post lift with plenty of ceiling height.

The Dynapack chassis dyno....

....an essential tool for the serious garage workshop!

Dyno accessory cart....

....and exhaust collector stands were developed for this project.

Walls are paneled with FRP and will be detailed with base, chair rail and crown moldings. Wall mounted Corelite T5HO twin-tube indirect florescent lighting (two 24' sections, one 12' section) should provide uniform general lighting.

7500cfm fan to flush the hot air out of the shop when using the dyno. The fan will be painted and trimmed with molding to integrate with the cabinetry at the front of the room.

Framing for the front TV and equipment cabinets has begun.

Equipment starts to fill the racks. The large opening is framed for a 55" television. There will also be 3 LCD tv's on the side walls. A 4>6 Audio Authority HD matrix switch/router will allow different inputs to be viewed on different monitors at the same time.

Middle Atlantic racks slide out of the framed cabinet openings for easy access to the rear of the equipment.

After a few year's distractions from finishing this garage, the work has resumed on the structured wiring. Data feeds for Cable, FIOS or Satellite. Plenty of source content via Internet, HD and Sirius radio, CD/DVD, and USB/Ipod.

Middle Atlantic AXS pull-out racks for a "built-in" look with easy rear access for component and wiring changes.

Special rails and stand required to support the loaded rack during service.

Rack is complete....TV will be installed soon. Plenty of trim work to be done before painting.
